Well, the 30/30 is underway! I've made some plans, done some research, and had some people step forward to help/accompany me! Here's the latest...
1. Get another tattoo.
I believe I've narrowed down the what and where. The where will be the inside of my right bicep. I'm also considering killing two birds with one stone and getting one behind my ear. The what for the bicep will definitely be a quote. I'm still debating on which one. As of right now my little bro will be getting one with me (his fourth or maybe fifth?)
3. Try a new craft/hobby.
So the original dream was to try pottery and/or glassblowing. Buuuuuuuut since both of those things appear to cost well over $150 each for one session... that's kind of out of the picture for now. I'm obsessed with Lindsay's cross stitching game right now (google/instagram: subversive cross stitch) so she's going to help me with that. If I find that I have $150 burning a hole in my pocket before the big 3-0 I'll come back to the original two ideas.
5. Adrenaline Junkie Experience (AJE)
This is really the one that started it all, and it looks like it's going to be the first to be completed. Next Sunday, July 26, 2015, Rosey, Luis, and I are going to be parasailing high over Lake George, NY! I am so EXCITED!
7. Ride a roller coaster.
So many people are in disbelief with this one! And so many people are excited to ride with me when I lose the coaster v-card! The Comet at Six Flags Great Escape will be the one. Date pending...
9. Run a 5k.
This week I signed myself up to run the "Color Me Rad" 5k on October 4th in Saratoga Springs, NY with my friend Meredith and my Aunt Maria. I've already gotten some very helpful tips for avoiding the dreaded shin splints. I'm going to start a "Couch to 5k" program this week as well.
10. Visit a winery.
My friend and co-worker, Julie has very graciously and selflessly offered to come with me to find and drink some vino straight from the source. Date pending...
15. Attend a ballet/opera/orchestra performance.
I have a date with my lovely friend Sarah to attend the August 7th performance of The Philadelphia Orchestra with special guest Yo Yo Ma at SPAC!
I'm so excited about this list! The more I think about it the more I know I can complete it. It's going to be tough at times, but it will definitely be worth it. Recommendations and accomplices are always welcome!
